Doron started dancing Israeli folk at the age of 8 and was then trained in ballet, contemporary, and composition at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance (Israel). He danced with the Croatian National Theatre (Split), Compañía Nacional de Danza (Madrid), and the Batsheva Ensemble (Tel Aviv). Now living in New York City, Doron is a Gaga Movement teacher, dances and works as Associate Director with ZviDance, and is an independent choreographer, performer, and educator. He was listed in "Best Performers of 2016" by Dance Magazine, received three Extraordinary Ability in the Arts O-1 Visas, and is a LABA fellow at The 14th street Y.

Since 2016, he has been teaching at Gibney, Mark Morris, and Purchase College, as well as original movement workshops at Center for Performance Research, GALLIM, Arts on Site, DeSales University, Scrigni Festival (Rome, Italy) Fix-in-Art residency (Thessaloniki, Greece) and HaStudio Theater (Hifa, Israel) amongst others. During the pandemic, Doron was teaching Gaga and Restorative Movement (then called bodycare101) online over ZOOM. In 2022, he started Super Chill Ballet, a low-stakes, changing schedule, donation-based class series in New York City Center.

As a choreographer, Doron works collaboratively with dancers, musicians, and filmmakers. His work deals with personal stories and experiences while using Ballet and Gaga as the basis of the movement language. He has performed at Judson Church, the 14th street Y Theater, Dixon Place, DanceNow, WestFest, Create:Art, Mexico City International Contemporary Dance Festival (Mexico), Edinburgh Fringe Festival (UK), and Hateiva Theater Tel Aviv (Israel) amongst others.
